We are seeking enthusiastic and knowledgeable Budtenders to join our team and ensure a memorable experience for our attendees.
Job Summary
As a Budtender, you will be the face of our cannabis dispensary booth, providing exceptional customer service and sharing your expertise with fairgoers. You will work throughout the 17-day fair, with shifts varying in time of day. A mandatory training session will be held on July 10 from 10 am to 1 pm.

Key Responsibilities
- Customer Service: Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service.
- Check-In: Check-in customers on the POS system, assessing their needs and providing assistance and information on product features.
- Product Knowledge: Stay informed about the various cannabis strains, edibles, and accessories available, including their effects and benefits. Discuss available options with customers.
- Sales: Assist customers in making purchases, and process transactions accurately using the Blaze POS system, and manage cash handling in accordance with company policies.
- Compliance: Adhere to all state and local cannabis laws and regulations, including age verification and proper documentation.
- Inventory Management: Monitor and manage product inventory, ensuring that the booth is well-stocked and organized at all times. Accurately label and update inventory.
- Flexibility: Be flexible with assignments as demand fluctuates in the marketplace throughout the event.
- Physical Demands: Standing and walking for most of a 6-hour shift is required.
- Team Collaboration: Work effectively with other Budtenders and fair staff to create a positive and seamless experience for attendees.
- Experience: Prior budtending experience required; 1-5 years of retail experience required. Experience with cash counting and handling is essential.
- Knowledge: Basic understanding of cannabis products and regulations. Familiarity with Treez POS systems is preferred.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex information clearly and concisely.
- Customer-focused: A friendly, outgoing personality with a genuine desire to help customers.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to handle transactions accurately and manage inventory efficiently.
- Compliance-Oriented: Understanding of and commitment to following all cannabis regulations and guidelines.
- Age Requirement: Must be at least 21 years old.
- Pay Rate: $18/hour
- Tips: Total tips pooled and split evenly for candidates in good standing.
- Incentives: Equally split incentives will be issued to all workers who are on time and complete all of their shifts
