Job Title: Entry-Level Manager - Hemp/CBD Dispensary

Location: Charlotte, NC

Pay Rate: $20-$23/hour

Schedule: Initially Monday-Friday 9 AM - 5 PM; will expand to weekends after opening.

About Us

We’re a brand-new hemp/CBD dispensary opening in Charlotte, NC, and we’re looking for a driven and enthusiastic Entry-Level Manager to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to gain management experience in the thriving hemp and CBD industry. You'll start two weeks before the dispensary opens to the public, helping to set up operations and preparing for a successful launch.

Position Overview

As the Entry-Level Manager, you’ll be responsible for overseeing a small team of 2-3 budtenders and handling day-to-day operations, including inventory management, scheduling, and administrative tasks. You will help create an inviting and efficient environment for both staff and customers, ensuring our dispensary runs smoothly and provides exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and mentor a team of 2-3 budtenders, fostering a positive and productive work environment

Oversee inventory control, ensuring accurate stock levels and timely reordering of products

Handle scheduling of staff to meet business needs, balancing hours, and maximizing productivity

Perform administrative duties such as payroll submissions, record keeping, and compliance with state regulations

Assist with store setup and organization before the dispensary opens to the public

Ensure that all customers receive high-quality service, offering guidance on hemp/CBD products and their benefits

Help build and maintain a customer-first culture that enhances loyalty and repeat business

Qualifications

Experience in a leadership or lead position, preferably in retail, hospitality, or a similar customer-facing industry

Knowledge of the hemp/CBD industry, including an understanding of products and their uses

Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively

Excellent communication skills and a positive, team-oriented attitude

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt as the business grows

Previous experience with inventory management and scheduling is a plus
