Who We’re Looking For
- Experienced in Construction: Our team is fast-paced and has a reputation for providing quality installations. Our new team member should already have some experience in construction in order to hit the ground running.
- Skilled Communicator: You will be expected to communicate the status of your job sites clearly to our customers as well as be in frequent contact with the subcontractors completing the installations. Additionally, the Field Manager must keep the office staff updated on the activity in the field through phone calls, emails, and our software: BuilderTrend.
- Tech-Savvy: Field Managers are given cell phones, laptops, and mobile printers to help them stay organized in the field as well as communicate with our customers and office staff. Being able to use this technology effectively is essential to the Field Manager’s success.
- Self-Starter: You will be responsible for your own schedule and are expected to be capable of prioritizing your tasks and completing your jobs without much interference from a superior.
- Respectful of Diversity: Many of our subcontractors are Hispanic and typically speak English as a second language. Many also have cultural perspectives that differ from the culture of the American South-East. A respect for diverse perspectives will be beneficial to working effectively with the subcontractors.
- Ensuring the correct material has been delivered to the jobsites
- Ordering and transporting additional material as needed
- Inspecting the jobs continuously for quality and coach subcontractors on what aspects they must improve upon
- Enforcing all safety standards on the jobsites
- Proactively identifying which houses in the subdivision(s) will be ready for siding and communicating that information to the warehouse and office staff
- Scheduling the subcontractor teams to perform the installations
- Updating the status of the jobs in BuilderTrend
- Communicating the status of the jobs with the customer
- Detail-oriented, organized mindset
- Construction Experience
- Tech Savvy
- Able to work autonomously
- Spanish skills strongly preferred
- Experience with BuilderTrend preferred
