What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bike Doctor position at VANMOOF?

Description

As a Bike Doctor, you are the referent of the workshop. With your outstanding level of technical expertise, ability to solve problems, and in-depth knowledge of VanMoofs’ products, you are the first point of contact for the sales, and customer support teams for technical questions and troubleshooting of the VanMoof bikes. 


Next to supporting the team of Bike Doctors and the workshop organization, you will also assemble, maintain, and repair the entire range of VanMoof’s models in our Service Hubs. Driven by the satisfaction of the customer and the quality of your repairs, you will support the sales and customer support teams to provide a five-star service to our customers. 


By being a true team player, you will work closely with your colleagues sharing best practices and innovating new ones not only to achieve but surpass our productivity goals. Our bikes are at the top of innovation, and therefore our systems are too. To perform each repair, you will use our different softwares to diagnose the vitals of the bike, log the repairs, and communicate the progress to the rest of the team and customer.


What you’ll do

  • First and foremost, you'll be assembling, repairing, and servicing our customer's bikes to the highest standard, in record time.
  • You won't just be a bike mechanic though, because we don't just make bikes. You'll also be expected to develop an in-depth knowledge of our range (past and present), know and follow our world-class repair and assembly processes, keep our Bike Doctor workplace in ship shape, and make sure we're never short of a part.
  • You'll have the smarts and the confidence to flag issues, whether they impact our bikes or our customers' happiness.
  • You'll be expected to advise our customers, be that in the hub or via email, so they can get their problems fixed no matter where they are.
  • You are responsible for in-time and high-quality assembly, rework, and repair of a wide range of VanMoof models
  • As a Bike Doctor, you are a “Safety Champion” and you are an example in the field of safety and ensure that safety awareness is increased within the team.
  • You make sure that the workplace is neat and complete.

 

And if things get crazy, you'll be able to jump to the front of house and help our customers too.
