What are the responsibilities and job description for the Director, Digital Pinnacle position at Vans?
As part of the Vans Global Digital team, the Digital Director for Pinnacle is responsible for delivering & launching the digital commerce experience for our Vans Pinnacle consumer segment - across key markets, globally. Pinnacle represents our most elevated, ‘best-level’ product line through our marketing, and experiences, serving an aspirational & influential consumer group. This is a high priority and high profile initiative, which will be equally challenging and rewarding, serving as a significant career milestone for the right candidate. The Pinnacle Digital Director will report into the Senior Director, Digital & Brand Capabilities and be supported by the Digital Manager for Pinnacle. This role will work closely with the Vans Pinnacle team, and interface across a wide spectrum of stakeholders. How You Will Make a Difference What you will do: Working off of an initial brief & high-level game strategy, you will sharpen & further flesh out the approach to bring the Pinnacle digital commerce experience to market Working closely with the Vans Pinnacle team, and also a large cross-functional project team, execute the game plan to deliver & launch the digital vertical sales experience as part of a holistic go-to-market plan for the Pinnacle category Deliver the standard operating procedures for the Pinnacle digital commerce experience, and lead the change management activities to embed the experience into our regional sales & marketing organizations (this may include running certain operational processes for a period of time, until the regions are ready to ingest them) Post-launch, focus on optimization and continuous enhancement of the Pinnacle digital commerce experience; as well as ensure ongoing stability & continuity of the property Across all of the above, manage the respective budget, and lead one team member - the Pinnacle Digital Manager Influence and shape global digital priorities for Pinnacle to deliver premium omni-channel consumer experiences, including product ‘drop’ best practices What success looks like: Delivery of the Pinnacle digital commerce experience on-time, in-full and within budget Achieving the sales & consumer KPIs defined for the Pinnacle vertical sales experience Excellent stakeholder management, keeping in mind that this is a high profile initiative, which will come up against many factors that challenge scope, timelines, & budget Smooth change management and limited business disruption as the Pinnacle digital commerce experience is embedded into regional teams for daily operations Free To Be, Inclusion & Diversity As a mission-led, performance driven company, we strive to foster a culture of belonging based on respect, connection, openness and authenticity. Skills for Success Years of Related Professional Experience: 9 years Educational Position Requirements: A formal education and subsequent undergraduate/graduate degrees are nice to have, but we are most interested in your total experience and professional achievements.
