Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic leader to oversee our North American business, which has tremendous growth potential. This role has end-to-end P&L responsibility for leading the North American business, with a focus on all commercial functions, market expansion (within existing markets, new market expansion and M&A), capital allocation and investment, and cross-functional leadership of operating functions to deliver a premier customer experience. This role is responsible for accelerating growth for the Company's business in across the United States and Canada, including directing all revenue management and site selection for the region to include all commercial sales strategy, pipeline development and revenue growth targets. Our top candidate will have extensive relationships with Vantage's largest customers and commercial and general management experience leading a high-growth communications infrastructure business.
Essential Job Functions
Build a cohesive short, medium, and long-term revenue and growth strategy that encompasses market development, sales, site selection, new site development, design and engineering, construction, and operations. * Work closely with the executive team and lead cross-functionally to develop growth strategies for pioneering new markets and competitive opportunities, while delivering an industry-leading customer experience. * Harness data to drive and adopt go-to-market strategies and tactics that drive profitable growth. * Identify, assess and execution of potential mergers, acquisitions, investments and partnerships. *Collaborate with senior leadership and sales team to source, track, assess and negotiate large customer opportunities. * Align with other regional Presidents to ensure consistent customer experience for our global customers. * Lead other strategic projects such as partnerships, land acquisition and market expansion. * Build and maintain excellent relationships across the organization and in the broader market. Inspire, motivate, and align regional cross-functional teams and align to drive exceptional outcomes. * Responsible for developing a healthy pipeline with existing clients while strategically identifying new logo sales opportunities and opportunities to penetrate new markets in growth sectors. * Responsible for shaping, directing, developing and inspiring a sales leadership team and providing support towards the achievement of maximum profitability and revenue growth; and for developing long-term relationships with major customers
Job Requirements
15 years of experience in commercial strategy and execution including organic and growth through M&A. * Datacenter experience is strongly preferred, and communications infrastructure services experience is required * General management experience, including driving success in a matrixed environment through leadership of direct functions and cross-functional management. * Experience working in a demanding environment with highly motivated and driven professionals. * Ability to handle projects with multiple workstreams, with validated leadership success over a wide variety of functional business problems. * A seasoned executive, business leader, and diplomat who knows how to navigate the workplace effortlessly. * Significant experience in leading teams to execute all aspects of transactions including direct experience in M&A. * An agile problem-solver who can meet and lead the pace of change. * A tech-savvy futurist who understands the product offerings and their value proposition to their clients. * A team builder and motivator who can pull together A-players from various fields to meet the needs of the revenuegenerating strategies. * Superior analytical and problem-solving skills, with demonstrated intellectual and analytical rigor. * Ability to structure and lead complex cross-enterprise projects and processes with multiple stakeholders at both senior and junior levels. * Experience driving success in a matrixed environment including effectively influencing dotted line functional leaders. * Excellent presentation skills, including strong oral and writing capabilities; ability to clearly communicate compelling messages to senior managers and external investors. * Board and investor management experience. * The successful candidate must reside in Colorado and/or be willing to relocate * Travel required is expected to be approximately 25% but may increase over time as the business evolves
