Vantage is currently hiring for a FULL-time Life Coach in California, MO. This position will run from Sunday - Friday from 11:00 P.M. to 7:00 A.M. (This is a paid sleeping shift)
This role is in the disability services field, providing supports to individuals who need assistance with daily living due to an intellectual, developmental, or cognitive disability.
Essential Responsibilities/Job Duties:
This position is working in our ISL homes with 1-2 supported individuals per home.
As a Life Coach, you will assist individuals with their daily goals and responsibilities, assist in medication refills, personal care tasks, including basic personal hygiene, toileting, bathing and grooming, feeding, and ambulation, medical monitoring, and other health care related tasks.
Life Coaches are responsible for community integration, medication passes, documenting of services provided, daily completion of shift logs, receipt tracking and ledgers, performing home functions, preparing meals, updating grocery lists and accompany client to scheduled appointments, recreational and preferred activities as needed.
- 18 years of age or older
- High school degree/GED required
- No experience required, will train
- Ability to communicate (verbally and written) with all levels of personnel
- Ability to handle physical aspects of job, including bending, stooping, lifting, pushing, pulling, reaching, and walking for periods of time
- Must maintain state regulatory certifications & training, as required by state/program requirements
-Medication Administration as required by state/program requirements
- Criminal history and background check
- CPR & First Aid (provided)

Pay: $14.00 - $17.00 per hour
