About this Opportunity:
Our production welders are responsible for the fabrication and welding of production parts. Should be able to work with formal drawings, sketches or verbal instructions. Activities include safe operation of welding equipment, saws, grinders, sanders, fixtures, hand tools and material handling equipment.
Responsibilities:
- Fabricate, weld and inspect product in a safe and efficient manner to meet customer drawing specifications.
- Read blueprints and welding symbols.
- An understanding of how to inspect every part using geometric dimensions and tolerance.
- Maintain and clean equipment and tools.
- Maintain production efficiency levels.
- Participate in continuous improvement activities.
- Comply with all company rules, regulations and requirements.
- Communicate, support and reinforce the values of the organization professionally.
- Work in a team environment and be supportive of all company initiatives.
- Maintain a safe and organized work area.
Required Experience:
What would really impress us:
- 2 years' experience certified MIG and/or TIG welding.
- Experience with continuous improvement activities.
- A service-driven attitude.
What we need from you:
- High School diploma or GED
- Ability to read blueprints
