ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES This person is responsible for assisting the head mechanic on daily maintenance duties for the manufacturing department. · Safety priority maintained while doing the overall plant maintenance as is changing air filters, oil changes and others. · Diagnose and repair equipment to comply with customer requirements and other facility duties. · Troubleshoot and resolve reported problems in a timely manner. · Execute preventive maintenance of equipment as needed · Be able to lift up to 50 pounds and drive warehouse equipment. · Maintain organized and clean work stations to perform equipment repair. · Clean drivers license QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS · Aptitude in using hand tools · Strong commitment to health and safety guidelines · Ability to follow established procedures. Practice and read and be able to follow blueprints, handbooks · Be able to interact with other department team members · Problem solving ability · Have sense of urgency · Very good communication skills · Be committed to the work culture PREFERRED SKILLS 1. 5 YEARS OF CARPENTRY/SMALL MOTORS REPAIR RELATED EXPERIENCE 2.
