Job Summary
The primary responsibility of the Enterprise PMO Coordinator is one that requires an understanding of project management, organizational leadership and communication skills. This role is responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations of Enterprise Project Management Office. The main responsibilities is to provide project management support in the form of guidance to project managers in the organization, ePMO reporting (status, budget, resources, risks, issues, and milestones) PMO coordinators typically have a wide range of responsibilities.
Essential Functions
- Develops and updates the project management methodology that is used on all projects within the ePMO
- Reviewing project proposals, budgets, schedules, and other planning documents to ensure they are consistent with ePMO policies and procedures
- Maintaining an inventory of project management tools, templates, and documents that may be useful for future projects
- Preparing reports on the status of projects and providing regular updates to management on projects’ progress (cost, contract, WBS, schedule, resource, etc.)
- Understanding, deployment, and coordination of project management office process and tools.
- Reconciles all project invoices for approval of the PMO director
- Responsible for creating, maintaining, and closing all WBSs in SAP PS
- Supports project forecasting, tracking, and requests for resources.
- Supports preparation of project development materials and materials for senior management.
- Responsible for the PMO department site and content organization
- Responsible for coordinating deliverable of the PMO to other departments in the organizations (i.e. Risk)
- Maintains all contracts within the PMO and ensures PMO compliance to other departments policies and procedures.
Qualifications
Knowledge & Skills
Experience
Minimum of five (5 ) years of experience supporting an Enterprise PMO; minimum of five (5 ) years of experience with IT processes; preferred (3 ) years of experience in banking, finance industry; Familiar with SOX processes and compliance; Experience working with gathering and analyzing data highly valuable; Experience with SAP FICO (SAP-PS, SAP-AP, specifically)
Education/Certifications/Licenses
Bachelor’s Degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Engineering, or related field.
Knowledge of IT frameworks such as COBIT, ITIL, etc.
Interpersonal Skills
A significant level of trust and diplomacy is required to be an effective subject matter expert in the
position. In-depth dialogues, conversations and explanations with customers, direct and indirect reports
and outside vendors of a sensitive and/or highly confidential nature is a normal part of the day-to-day
experience. Communications can involve motivating, influencing, educating and/or advising others on
matters of significance.

Physical Requirements
Is able to bend, sit, and stand in order to perform primarily sedentary work with limited physical exertion and occasional lifting of up to 10 lbs. Must be capable of climbing / descending stairs in an emergency situation. Must be able to operate routine office equipment including computer terminals and keyboards, telephones, copiers, facsimiles, and calculators. Must be able to routinely perform work on a computer for an average of 6-8 hours per day, when necessary. Must be able to work extended hours or travel off site whenever required or requested by management. Must be capable of regular, reliable, and timely attendance.
Working Conditions
Must be able to routinely perform work indoors in climate-controlled shared work area with minimal noise.
Mental and/or Emotional Requirements
Must be able to perform job functions independently or with limited supervision and work effectively either on own or as part of a team. Must be able to read and carry out various written instructions and follow oral instructions. Must be able to complete basic mathematical calculations, spell accurately, and understand computer basics. Must be able to speak clearly and deliver information in a logical and understandable sequence. Must be capable of dealing calmly and professionally with numerous different personalities from diverse cultures at various levels within and outside of the organization and demonstrate highest levels of customer service and discretion when dealing with the public. Must be able to perform responsibilities with composure under the stress of deadlines / requirements for extreme accuracy and quality and/or fast pace. Must be able to effectively handle multiple, simultaneous, and changing priorities. Must be capable of exercising the highest level of discretion on both internal and external confidential matters.
