VaxCare’s RCM Team is focused on maximizing partner payments by collecting information, knowledge and money. We research claims, analyze denials and solve problems while adding value to VaxCare’s bottom line. As a result, we play an important part in the company’s rapid growth!
We are searching for someone who is passionate about building teams, developing people, and driving performance. In this team-centric role, this leading expert will engage and oversee the RCM Collections Team in successful daily collections, workflow efficiency, and case escalation.
WHAT TO EXPECT IN THIS ROLE
- Team Management & Engagement
- Manage staffing of team including full-time and seasonal employees to meet team SLAs
- Drive team engagement through ongoing team bonding activities and team member mentorship
- Prioritize and coordinate team work queues, schedules, and activities
- Answer escalation questions from team and make quick decisions to resolve claims issues
- Deliver on Productivity & Quality Collection Metrics
- Drive team productivity by monitoring metrics and coaching team members
- Drive team quality by monitoring metrics and coaching team members
- Analyze data to determine areas for improvement to achieve team metrics
- Execute training, operational processes, and strategies to maintain performance
- Prepare and present weekly/monthly/quarterly reporting to management that measures progress against established goals
- Process Improvement
- Ensure compliance with policies and procedures of department, company, and industry
- Define areas for process improvement and Execute on roadmap of process improvement projects to improve productivity, quality, and efficiency.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Minimum of five (5) years' experience in previous Healthcare Collections Role
- Previous supervisory experience leading collection teams to successful results
- The ability to manage a large amount of data, and deliver an informative, relevant message from its content
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills to face new challenges head-on
- Ability to accommodate varying work assignments that may require different levels of expertise
- Display a willingness to advance self and encourage and assist the advancement of peers.
- Take initiative to learn and be familiar with all applicable products provided by VaxCare, and industry leading trends
- Very Strong Microsoft excel skills required
