Sales Enablement Specialist is a pivotal role in supporting our dynamic business development team comprised of Account Executives and Sales Executive leaders. This role is responsible for ensuring that our business development team has the tools, resources, and processes to achieve their sales goals. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of sales processes, CRM management, and the ability to analyze and report on sales metrics.
The Sales Enablement Specialist role plays a critical role in ensuring exceptional results for our organization. Key Responsibilities
CRM Management (Hubspot):
- Ensure Account Executives and Regional Vice Presidents are keeping CRM up-to-date and accurate via reporting.
- Assist in onboarding and training new and existing Account Executives on CRM best practices.
- Create and manage CRM dashboards to track sales activities and metrics.
Data Entry & Reporting:
- Input and maintain quality sales data in the CRM as needed.
- Generate daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly activity, forecast, attainment, & other sales reports.
- Analyze sales data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas of improvement.
- Organize and pull custom lists from ZoomInfo.
Account Executive Onboarding & Training
- Coordinate and facilitate onboarding sessions for new Account Executives.
- Ensure new hires have all necessary tools, logins, and materials.
- Share data, analytics and reporting with sales leadership related to Account Executive onboarding and related progress.
- Conduct regular product training sessions to ensure Account Executives are well-versed in the features, benefits, and applications of VC3 products or services.
- Coordinate & plan workshops on advanced selling techniques, objection handling, consultative selling, etc.
- Coordinate training and data on industry trends, competitor insights, and market dynamics to position the Account Executives as trusted advisors.
Scheduling & Coordination:
- Schedule internal and external meetings for the business development (BD) team leaders.
- Coordinate sales events, training sessions, and team-building activities.
- Manage logistics for sales-related travel and events.
- · Work closely with marketing to ensure there is strong alignment with the business development team.
- Collaborate on lead generation strategies, content creation, and feedback loops to refine marketing messages based on sales experiences.
Sales Support:
- Assist with proposal creation, contract management, and other sales-related tasks.
- Collaborate with marketing to ensure the BD team has up-to-date collateral and promotional materials.
- Act as a liaison between BD and other departments to streamline communication.
- Keep abreast of advanced sales tools that can automate tasks, provide insights, or help Account Executives sell more effectively.
- Consider and evaluate tools for prospecting, sales intelligence, communication, e-signatures, etc.
- Assist with administering a robust recognition program to highlight and reward top performers.
Continuous Improvement:
- Identify and recommend improvements to sales processes and tools.
- Stay up-to-date on industry best practices and emerging sales enablement technologies.
- Assist with gathering data to support identification of Account Executives who may need additional support, coaching or mentorship.
- Assist leaders with data and reporting for regular one-on-one coaching sessions to review calls, improve metrics, provide feedback, and strategize on challenging deals.
- Regularly solicit feedback from Account Executives about challenges they face, support they need, or suggestions for improvement.
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field is preferred.
- 3 years of experience in a sales support or sales enablement role.
- Proficiency in Hubspot or similar CRM platforms.
- Strong analytical and reporting skills.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
