VCA Todds Lane Animal Hospital is seeking an experienced Veterinary Assistant to join the team at our AAHA-accredited practice in Hampton, VA!

We are a well-established 2-doctor practice in the family-friendly neighborhood of North Hampton, conveniently located a few miles from the Peninsula Town Center. We see dogs, cats, pocket pets, and rabbits, offering Primary Care, Surgery, and Dentistry services.

About the Role

As Veterinary Assistant, you will help create and maintain a positive, low-stress atmosphere for our patients and clients. Duties will include:

• Compassionate patient care
• Client education and care
• Venipuncture and catheter placement
• Radiology and diagnostics
• Lab sample collection and processing
• Surgical preparation and assisting
• Dentistry
• Medication preparation and administration
• Safe and effective patient handling and restraint
• Medical recordkeeping
