What are the responsibilities and job description for the Technology Support Coordinator position at VCI Construction?
Overview: Coordinate Administer and Support electronic devices/systems, internet platforms and technology based applications. This role supports the company’s IT needs in areas of new user provisioning, network and application permissions, wireless/cell phone and device planning. The Technology Support Coordinator will be responsible for installing, modifying, and making minor repairs to mobile device systems; and for providing training and technical assistance to system users.
What you will do:
- Drive Cam system administration
- Weekly Compliance Tracker administration
- Electronic Device Provisioning and Support
- Order necessary devices. IPhones / IPad
- Assign appropriate service and numbers
- Advise new employees of sign on to devices
- Place devices in best DATA Plan for the users
- Maintain Necessary Supplies to support devices. e.g. cords, chargers and cases.
- Manage all mobile devices of the company through Airwatch MDM
- Wireless Phone Bill consolidation, ensure plan is optimized monthly for maximum cost efficiency
- Communicate issues to workers
- Duties as assigned pertaining to administering Essential Duties and Responsibilities.
Qualifications
Who we are looking for:
- Requires 1-2 years relevant experience or an equivalent combination of technical training and experience pertaining to electronic device programing
- General understanding of internet based platforms
- Familiarity with Google Systems a plus. (Gmail, Google Drive, Google hangouts,ext.)
- Familiarity with Apple products.
- Interact with internal and external partners, to solve device/platform problems
- Skills with MS (Word, Excel)
