Merchandising/ Marketing Assistant

Responsibilities:

• Maintain product photos in the database and assist in organizing the fabric library.
• Manage and organize sample tracking.
• Organize trend boards and product presentation boards and work with outside design studios on-trend update.
• Assist with competitive shopping trips including schedule setup, travel arrangements, and after trip recap meetings.
• Collaborate with the owner in maintaining and growing social media channels.
• Updating and maintaining marketing materials
• Assist owner with sales, production, merchandising processes.

Qualifications (minimum)

• 2 years of experience supporting a senior executive in a fast paced, high-pressure environment requiring little or no direct supervision
• College degree required (B.A. in Fashion Merchandising or Marketing preferred)
• Excellent written/oral communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Able to multitask with shifting priorities and to interact with diverse personalities.
• Able to be initiative-taking and work under pressure.
• Prior internship experience in Product development or Merchandising or Marketing helpful.
