Position: Millwork Estimator/ Estimating Manager
Location: Oakdale, PA
Salary: The range would be in the $80-$100 range depending on experience plus a generous benefit package!
About the Job
We are seeking an experienced millwork estimator for our rapidly growing Casework and Millwork division located in Oakdale, PA
What You Will Do
Translate architectural drawings to perform detailed take offs and itemized lists of materials
Create detailed scopes of work based on architectural drawings or narratives
Acquire unit pricing and quotes for varying types of materials for each project
Work with subcontractors to determine install and subcontracted work and associated costs
Interpret division 06400 specifications (and associated) for compliance and build standards
Develop written proposals and pricing for review and possible presentation
Travel to job sites to develop/determine scope required to meet clients’ needs
What You Will Need To Be Successful
Minimum of three (3) years’ experience estimating casework and millwork up to $1 million
Must have the ability to read drawings and interpret specifications
Analytical skills and strong attention to detail
Computer skills required – Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook), digitized blueprint software
Be motivated and self-driven while progressing in a team environment.
Creative problem-solving skills
Understanding of basic construction methods regarding architectural millwork
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Be highly organized and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
