At Vehicle Accessory Center, our employees are our greatest asset. And we need leaders who will provide guidance and education, as well as ensure organizational policies and procedures are understood and followed. We are a General Motors and Ford Accessory Distributor that services GM dealerships in California, Arizona, Nevada, New Mexico, Alaska and Hawaii. We sell GM and Ford OE accessories exclusively to our customers in our assigned area. We have an immediate opening for an Operations Manager in our Phoenix, Arizona warehouse. As the Operations Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day management of the operation supporting our General Motors and Ford dealer customers by processing outbound order preparation and manage inbound order arrivals for our Phoenix, Arizona distribution center.

We utilize Oracle by NetSuite and NetSuite WMS with a ShipHawk plugin as our operating system.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Supervise warehouse associates, including motivating, coaching, training, and disciplining staff
  • Recruit, hire and train staff for this facility
  • Manage all facility needs for 15,000 square foot warehouse
  • Manage equipment and coordinate all maintenance needs
  • Manage inventory control processes; drive quality operations through application of Lean methodologies
  • Manage warehouse and carrier vendor relationships
  • Create and monitor KPIs against targets, and lead organization to meet or exceed KPIs
  • Ensure put-away and picking activities in the distribution center are meeting operational needs
  • Lead operations team, supporting value-added service and outbound packing to meet/exceed lead time requirements
  • Initiate and lead projects focusing on the improvement of safety, quality, delivery, cost, and morale

Ideal Candidates will meet these qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years relevant warehouse experience
  • Management or coaching experience required
  • Strong communication skills
  • Proficient skills with Microsoft Office products such as Excel, Word and Outlook, as well as general computer skills
  • Able to operate in a fast-paced and changing market environment
  • Able to push, pull and lift up to 50 lbs
  • Knowledge of Oracle NetSuite software is a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $5,250.00 per month
