VELOPOWER INC is looking for a bike technician with at least 1 year experience working in a bike mechanic role in a professional retail bicycle shop. In this role you will get your hand dirty working on high end product, both in new builds as well as repairs. Want to work with the latest technology in the e-bike industry?You will be building e-bikes with the latest technology, but you will alsoGreet customers, advise and create work estimates on the type of mechanical service the bicycle will need
Documenting service tags through the computer and scheduling appointments on labor board
Perform adjustments and repairs on all types and levels of bikes.
Contact customer if work will exceed original estimation
Contact customer when work order is completed.
Delivering the finished bike to the customer indicating any further wear if necessary
Answering phones and helping sales staff when necessary
Besides a great attitude and excellent references, you just gotta have:1 yrs experience working as a bicycle mechanic (we will training you to be a professional e-bike mechanic)
Ability to perform maintenance on all bikes: mountain/road, high end and general.
Exceptional communication skills.(Our head technician will help you to be a E-bike mechanic)
Knowledge of the market and new products as they emerge preferred.
Mechanic must show proven ability to sell product.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $25.00 - $56.41 per hour

Experience:

• Mechanic experience: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• Driver's License (Preferred)
