What are the responsibilities and job description for the Retail Solar Consultant position at Venture Solar?
Overview:
We are seeking entry-level Retail Solar Consultants that will be solid contributors on our team.
We are seeking candidates with a student mentality, a strong work ethic and a great attitude. No experience is necessarily required as the solar industry is relatively new.
Venture Solar offers paid training & recent grads are welcome to apply!
Base salary commission. Job seekers will likely make $75,000 - $100,000 after commissions.
You will be responsible for:
- Professionally prospecting inside one of our trusted retail partners' locations to pitch the various Venture Solar product offerings
- Qualifying roofs for solar projects
- Gathering the necessary homeowner information needed to provide a custom solar solution
- Set appointments with homeowners to answer any outstanding customer questions
- Confidently provide focused customer service
What you’ll bring:
- Prior sales or hospitality experience is a plus
- Outstanding customer service skills
- Possess excellent communication skills including the ability to listen and resolve issues
- Ability to work independently and remain productive
