Role Summary/Purpose:
The Collection Team Lead will be responsible for the oversight of the Asset Care collections team as well as synchronized reporting, dispute management and associated activities with the global shared service order-to cash-team to promote and manage timely customer payment and cash applications.
Essential Responsibilities:
Maintain Past Dues, Customer-Hold weekly reporting.
Coordinate collection efforts of existing field staff.
Publish monthly past due performance metrics.
Partner w/billing cycle time lifecycle - credit/order block as needed before standard practice guidelines.
Monitor and report Bad debt reserves (BDR).
Engage in customer meetings/discussions to resolve receivables issues.
Ensure Unapplied Cash (UAC) is cleared on a monthly basis.
Publish Monthly Cash/credit/dispute metrics.
Partner with the shared service cash/order to cash team to enable efficient cash collection.
Credit card reconciliation when necessary.
Reduce delinquency for assigned accounts.
Serve as Lead on the weekly regional past due action calls.
Coordinate collection efforts and provide support, guidance, leadership and motivation to promote maximum performance for two or more colleagues.
Minimum Qualifications/Requirements:
High School diploma or GED required. Associate degree in business from an accredited college or university preferred.
Five (5) years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required. Billing and collections experience a plus.
Proficiency in SAP Sales/Distribution, Customer Service a plus.
Professional level experience with Google Workspace and/or Microsoft Office products.
