Position Purpose:
The position's purpose is to manage new account onboarding and pricebook creation within Veolia's systems for new accounts. Additionally, this position will manage all pricebook changes for existing accounts, as well as manage ticket errors related to / caused by pricebook setup.
Primary Duties/Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the sales team to ensure proper onboarding of new accounts: set up new customers in AMS, initiate credit checks etc.
- Create customer Pricebook (Headquarter (HQ) or Bill-To (BT)) for newly onboarded accounts. Manage best practices for pricebook creation to limit ticket errors on Jobs/Tickets.
- Owner of all HQ and BT pricebook changes for all branch customers, including new service codes/waste types, as well as taking the lead on executions of yearly price increases within pricebooks.
- Own the resolution of Ticket Errors that are related to issues with pricebook setup (e.g., price does not exist, etc.).
- Work with Account Managers to standardize offerings, prices, and price assumptions (ultimately reducing the number of different customer price books).
- Be a source of RPM expertise across all functional groups.
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by Customer Excellence Manager.
Work Environment:
- Works indoors with occasional exposure outdoors and weather conditions.
Qualifications
Education/Experience/Background:
- Strong analytical experience.
- Experience using ESS’s systems (especially RPM/ Salesforce) or similar.
- Sufficient understanding of waste streams, transportation and disposal or the ability to build this understanding.
- Some customer engagement experience.
- Preferred degree or equivalent experience in science, mathematics, or business.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
- High attention to detail.
- Highly organized and structured - able to follow a standard process.
- Knowledge of, or ability to build knowledge of, the hazardous waste business.
- Customer focused mindset/ ability to help customers.
- Able to work collaboratively across different functions and to both help and secure help from colleagues.
Required Certification/Licenses/Training:
- Veolia Training as required.
- High School Diploma.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to continuously sit throughout the day and occasionally standing, and walking.
- Continuous fine finger movement, and eye-hand cordination.
- Occasional bending, twisting, and reaching above the shoulder level.
