Manager of Email Marketing

Role Summary:

We are looking for an experienced professional to join the Verano team as an Email Marketing Manager. This is a key role within the Digital Marketing Team. This role is primarily responsible for leading and managing the company's national retail email marketing program. You will administer the email marketing software suite, maintain templates, build email campaigns, automate flows, analyze, and optimize campaigns, and measure and report their success. In this role, you will also coach and mentor other team members in the use of email marketing tools to ensure a consistent, best-in-class email marketing experience. This is an in-office position with potential for partial work-from-home.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Act as a subject matter expert on behalf of the marketing team
• Partner with stakeholders to define and implement email marketing strategies that increase customer acquisition, engagement, and retention
• Develop a best-in-class email marketing experience
• Coach and mentor digital marketing team members
• Administer the company's email marketing software solutions
• Create and maintain email subscriber lists and segments
• Design and assemble emails, forms, templates, and landing pages
• Develop, test, qualify, and deploy email campaigns
• Build and manage flows and automations
• Perform strategic A/B testing, provide actionable data
• Capture, analyze, report KPIs, and identify opportunities to optimize
• Provide support for API integrations and special projects

Minimum Qualifications:

• Undergraduate degree in marketing, business, computer science, or a combination of education and professional experience
• 3 or more years of experience in an email marketing role
• Experience operating Klaviyo, Mail Chimp, and other similar products
• Experience working with and analyzing data, testing campaigns, and web analytics tools
• Ability to deploy, analyze, and optimize a large volume of email campaigns
• Applied knowledge of database and email marketing best practices
• Experience working with business owners to define reporting requirements
• Ability to adapt and conform to multiple, shifting priorities
• Able to present ideas and communicate information clearly and concisely
• Exceptional attention to detail and a high level of organizational skills
