Committed to delivering exceptional products and experiences, we are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accountant with 0-2 years of experience to join our finance team.
1. Financial Record Keeping:
· Record day-to-day financial transactions accurately and in a timely manner.
· Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records.
2. Accounts Receivable:
· Monitor and follow up on accounts receivable.
· Develop and maintain AR reconciliations for all major E-commerce marketplaces- Amazon, eBay, Target, Walmart, etc.
· Utilize Excel tools to streamline and automate large data sets involved in reconciliation process.
3. Bank Reconciliations:
· Reconcile bank statements to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
· Maintain a clear record of all financial transactions.
4. Expense Management:
· Track and categorize business expenses.
· Assist in preparing expense reports and budget analysis.
5. Financial Reporting:
· Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
· Provide insights into financial performance through variance analysis.
6. Assist in Audits:
· Collaborate with external auditors during audits.
· Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
7. Ad Hoc Financial Analysis:
· Support the finance team in various financial analyses as needed.
· Contribute to the identification of cost-saving opportunities.
8. Cross-Functional Collaboration:
· Work closely with other departments to gather financial information and provide support.
· Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
2. 0-2 years of experience in accounting, preferably in an e-commerce or retail setting.
3. Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial processes.
4. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
5. Detail-oriented with a strong sense of accuracy.
6. Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
7. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
8. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
