Experienced Private Investigator

Veri-Fi Investigative Services is seeking to hire experienced field Investigators in Pennsylvania. The right candidates will have experience with Field Investigations/Surveillance, Activity Checks, Workers’ Compensation Claims, and Written & Recorded statements.

We are seeking Investigators for surveillance and claims assignments as they primarily relate to the investigation of insurance claims. We are seeking individuals who possess proven investigative skill sets within the industry. The following requirements are not debatable, and all applicants Must Possess the following:

1-2 years experience in field investigations

Clean, current / valid Driver License

Current auto insurance / registration

Reliable, surveillance ready vehicle suitable for covert surveillance

*Statement taking and NYSIF Experience a PLUS

MUST HAVE a digital camcorder capable of producing quality video and MUST have experience in obtaining quality video

MUST have smartphone, laptop, or another device for communication/internet while in the field. No exceptions

Investigators are required to respond to emails, text messages, case generated updates or other communication when received; in a timely manner

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, time management & organizational skills

Ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently and mandatory daily communication with case managers always

Analytical and problem-solving skills and complete assignments in a timely manner

Ability to ask questions, seek advice and NOT make personal judgement calls on tasks if not sure

Bi-Lingual a plus

Knowledge of Microsoft Office and internet, Laptop / PC and typing skills needed

Experience in writing claims / investigative reports

Mobile surveillance with digital camera experience with video uploading knowledge a must

Experience conducting Activity Checks

Frequent sitting, or possible standing or walking for long periods of time with responsible driving skills. Speeding, excessive tickets or wreck-less and careless driving will not be tolerated and will result in immediate dismissal.

Experience in conducting surveillance solo or by team by mobile and in using NYC public transportation; subways, buses and other means and knowledge of moving about through NYC and surrounding boroughs; a MUST.

The applicant must be able to cover his/her own local region as well as acceptance of covering a 50 mile radius with potential further travel if needed.
