We are seeking an enthusiastic, creative, organized, and highly motivated Marketing Specialist to join the marketing team. This is a critical role within the marketing group that will support campaign management, content development, and design for multiple organizations — with a focus on lead generation through webinars, events and other marketing campaigns, including but not limited to project plans (ideation to completion), budget, program execution, and evaluation of campaign effectiveness.
Responsibilities
- Manage overall events calendar (external events)
- Create and execute end-to-end event plans including overall event objectives, presence, email/social promotion, onsite plan, post-show follow up and internal reporting
- Expertly drive pre-event meetings, including ownership of event planning documentation
- Work closely with product/client services/sales to identify event goals, content, and promotion
- Track events budget and ensure all event-related expenses stay within allocated budget
- Manage vendors to execute on event plan deliverables
- Ensure deadlines are met on all project plans
- Create recommendations for new events based on business goals
- Recap event performance for key stakeholders and make recommendations on future participation
- Ensure all event leads are documented in a timely and efficient manner
- Provide print and web advertising copy writing and design support for all content
- General marketing writing, design, or production support as needed
- Collaborate with marketing team members and business development team members to set strategies based on event objectives

Qualifications
- Must be a driven self-starter who is able to work independently and as part of a team
- Prior events management and execution experience, preferably B2B (domestic and international)
- Strong project management experience
- Strong interpersonal and communications skills, both written and oral (for all levels of management)
- Proven ability to create event plans and deliver on time and on budget
- Can problem solve and recommend solutions
- Strong analytical skills (to forecast and identify trends/challenges)
- Ability to display creative thinking skills
- Organizational, multi-tasking and time management skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
- Experience with Salesforce and marketing automation (Pardot, HTML/CSS proficiency is a plus)
- Comfortable with social media platforms (for business: LinkedIn, Twitter)
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, especially InDesign and Illustrator preferred
- Minimum 2 year of marketing work experience
- Bachelor’s degree in communication, business management, administration, or marketing is preferred
