About the Job:
The Kennel Attendant serves as support to veterinarians, the shift leads, technicians, veterinary assistants, and plays a vital role in patient care. Kennel Attendant must value the highest standards in quality of care while also respecting the personal limitations that may impact the decisions made by our clients.
As a Kennel Attendant your responsibilities would include:
- Assisting technicians, assistants and veterinarians with the care and medical treatments for both inpatients and outpatients.
- Accurately transcribing or updating all appropriate patient documentation
- Ensuring that the hospital remains fully stocked, specifically the back treatment area and exam rooms
- Maintain a clean and safe hospital environment including:
- Maintain and stock laundry room
- Maintain and stock inpatient treatment area
- Help aide in patient restraint
About You:
- No experience necessary
- Ability to work in a highly collaborative environment and commitment to develop long-term relationships with colleagues, clients, and community
- Positive outlook and ability to work well in a collaborative environment
- Excellent communication and organizational skills are required, and the ability to deliver exceptional client service is expected
- Honesty, integrity, and a desire to learn and have fun!
