Key Responsibilities
- VOIP Management: Design, deploy, and maintain VOIP solutions, with a strong focus on RingCentral, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
- Video Conference Systems: Manage and support enterprise video conferencing solutions, primarily Crestron, including setup, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
- Microsoft Teams: Administer and support Microsoft Teams as part of the unified communication strategy, integrating it with other telecom systems.
- Network Integration: Collaborate with network engineers to ensure seamless integration of telecom systems with the existing network infrastructure.
- System Upgrades: Plan and execute upgrades and expansions of telecom systems to accommodate organizational growth and technology advancements.
- Technical Support: Provide technical support and training to end-users, addressing and resolving telecom-related issues promptly.
- Documentation: Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation of telecom infrastructure, configurations, and procedures.
- Vendor Management: Coordinate with telecom vendors and service providers to ensure high-quality service delivery and support.
- Project Management: Lead and participate in telecom-related projects, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business objectives.
- Compliance: Ensure telecom systems comply with relevant regulations and security standards.
- Vulnerability Management: Implement and manage a vulnerability management program for telecom systems, identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks to maintain system security.
- Incident Response: Develop and maintain incident response procedures for telecom systems, ensuring prompt action and resolution in case of security breaches or vulnerabilities.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP, RingCentral Certified) are a plus.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in telecom engineering, with extensive experience in VOIP solutions like RingCentral, enterprise video conference systems like Crestron, and Microsoft Teams.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in telecom technologies, VOIP protocols (SIP, H.323), video conferencing systems, network configurations, troubleshooting, and vulnerability management.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex telecom issues.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
- Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively within a team and with cross-functional departments.
