What you'll be doing...
The Customer Experience Organization is looking to hire a Product Manager to join a team that is transforming Verizon Consumer Group (VCG) by harnessing the power of AI/ML. This role is focused on building an AI Co-Pilot that will revolutionize that experience for our customer success channel.
As a Product Manager you will be responsible for guiding a cross-functional team and own all aspects of delivering end to end solutions, including but not limited to: solution design, solution development life-cycle, solution implementation, and demonstration of business value.
Developing and execute a vision, strategy, and roadmap for products that drive business outcomes, while considering user feedback, competitive analysis, and business goals.
Responsible for the management and/or development of a product or products, including the development of business requirements, planning, business justification, verification, forecasting, pricing, profitability, and launch at all stages of the product life cycle; involved in bringing products to market and longer-term evolution and maintenance of product suites.
Partnering with business and technology stakeholders in identifying business requirements, functional design, process design, prototyping, testing, training, and defining support procedures.
Leading multiple cross-functional teams charged with improving the customer and employee experiences and implementing strategic enterprise-wide efficiency-driving programs.
Preparing and executing regular program updates to senior management.
What we’re looking for:
You have an imaginative mindset and extensive experience with delivering technology solutions. You are comfortable working in an innovation-focused environment – particularly, evaluating emerging trends and technologies to assess their feasibility, viability, and functioning effectively in a fail-fast environment. You are a self-starter and a quick learner, and are able to innovate and report on tasks and status proactively.
You’ll need to have:
Bachelor's degree or ten or more years of work experience.
Six or more years of relevant work experience.
Proven track record of technical solution delivery
Fluency in modern product / project management digital technologies and platforms
Even better if you have one or more of the following:
MBA/Master’s degree in computer science, data science, or an AI-related discipline.
Experience with GCP and the Google product suite of AI / ML products
Hands-on experience implementing GenAI products - LLMs, RAG, LangChain, etc
Five or more years of experience in Telecom, customer service, retail sales, supply chain, consulting, business analytics, economics, banking / finance, or Marketing.
Track record of delivering challenging system integrations or technical solutions
Experience with delivering cutting-edge AI / ML solutions producing real business results
Experience with Verizon’s Customer Service (ACSS) or Retail (POS) System
Proficiency in engaging, presenting, and influencing large teams, functional leaders, and telling a compelling story to an executive audience in a highly matrixed organization
Experience in designing, developing, and deploying AI/ ML projects.
