What you’ll be doing...
You’ll elevate our presence in the IOTmarketplace by communicating to the industry analyst community. You’ll ensure we’re represented in major industry publications and reviews while putting our message out in the market and sharing the ways we’re making businesses run faster, better, and smarter.
- Proactively reinforcing our vision and strategy in the market.
- Driving Verizon's presence in marquis reports such as Magic Quadrants.
- Crafting annual and quarterly plans to engage and influence industry analysts.
- Developing and delivering messaging for analysts on topics like product news, success stories, along with product and service benefits.
- Partnering with strategy, marketing, and media relations leads to align messaging.
- Responding to all industry information and survey requests including those from Gartner, Forrester, IDC and Omdia.
- Sharing industry analyst reviews and feedback throughout our organization.
Where you'll be working...
In this hybrid role, you'll have a defined work location that includes work from home and assigned office days set by your manager.
What we’re looking for...
You’ll need to have:
- Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
- Six or more years of relevant work experience.
- Four or more years of experience with the IOT portfolio or Analyst Relations.
- Experience working in a Communications function.
- Experience presenting to senior leaders and external audiences.
- Willingness to travel.
Even better if you have one or more of the following:
- A Master’s degree.
- Executive Communications, Product Marketing, or related marketing/communications functional experience.
- Experience collaborating and influencing both internal and external teams.
- Industry Analyst Relations Professional certification.
- Experience with Architect Database.
- Experience in the Technology or Telecommunications industry.
