Verizon’s Value Based Marketing (VBM) team is evolving and maturing its Real-time Decisioning (RTD) capabilities to the next level of intelligence and sophistication while bringing innovative personalization solutions to market. This group is responsible for the operations of Verizon Wireless’s RTD loyalty and retention platform in all channels, including Customer Care, Point-of-Sale and Digital, and will guide all RTD needs for Verizon Wireless. The VBM CARtech team leverages advanced data intelligence and cross-channel tools to present the right offer, to the right customer, at the right time. This results in incremental value to the business, including churn reduction and revenue generation as well as an improved customer experience, loyalty and satisfaction.
The Logic Designer will design and review logic for new and existing offers using tools including Jira and the Pega Decision Service Management (DSM) function within the PegaSystems platform.
- Using best practices to create, translate and optimize RTD logic.
- Designing, reviewing and deploying changes to existing offer logic.
- Validating proposition matrix accuracy as the team transitions to new workflow tool (OOA/Catalyst).
- Driving and/or supporting collaboration by partnering with GTM, Offer Operations & GTS to improve the production offer launch cycle through Offer Automation.
- Tracking all changes using Jira, OOA and the Proposition Matrix master document.
- Supporting the transition to a Global Prop Matrix.
- Supporting the testing and presentment of offers.
- Participating in Agile development scrum for the RTD platform.

What we’re looking for...
You’ll need to have:
- Bachelor’s degree in technology, marketing or business discipline or four or more years of work experience.
- Four or more years of relevant work experience.
- Experience with testing, business analysis, and/or workflow development.
- Knowledge of the Agile process and JIRA.
- Experience managing multiple, competing projects and meet project objectives for timeliness and accuracy in a high-pressure environment.
Even better if you have one or more of the following:
- Experience with one Campaign Management, Business Process Management, or Decisioning platform such as IBM Unica/Campaign/Interact, Salesforce, SAS RTIM, Teradata, Adobe, Oracle, etc.
- Strong logical, analytical and creative problem solving skills.
- Value Based Marketing / CRM experience.
- Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal, and leadership skills with strong attention to detail.
- Experience with the PegaSystems platform.
- Ability to work autonomously and demonstrate initiative while making sound business decisions.
- Strong proficiency using Google Suite (e.g. - Drive, Gmail, Docs, Slides etc).
- Knowledge of SQL and XML.
