At BlueJeans by Verizon, our channel partners are a significant part of our business and we want a strong leader to help us grow our partner-led business.BlueJeans is innovating the way people work with a meetings platform that brings audio, video and web conferencing together with the collaboration tools people use every day.We are seeking a talented leader of Channel Marketing to work with our Global Channel sales teams to build programs to drive pipeline and grow revenue through our channel.
The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of delivering results across three key pillars of channel marketing:
- Partner demand generation programs – work with our campaigns and field marketing teams as well as channel account managers to design and deliver scalable marketing programs, prospecting programs and events to generate leads and pipeline that help BlueJeans and our partners hit our revenue growth targets.
- Partner sales tools and enablement – work closely with our product marketing, field enablement and channel strategy/ops teams to ensure we have the right sales tools and enablement content in place, as well as a world-class partner portal.
- Partner communications and loyalty – including partner portal content, webcasts, Partner Advisory Boards, recruiting programs and activities to foster loyal and productive partners and drive partner preference for selling BlueJeans vs competitors.
Your day job at BlueJeans:
- Be a strategic partner to our Global Channel Sales leaders and teams.
- Define our channel marketing strategy working closely with our channel sales leaders and team members.
- Deliver a set of programs to help our partners and channel account managers drive leads, ranging from prospecting days, to digital marketing to events.
- Work with product marketing and field enablement teams to ensure we have the right content to onboard partners and help them sell, integrate and service BlueJeans products.
- Guide and administer use of MDF to ensure it is used effectively to grow our business.
- Design and deliver partner outreach, whether in periodic communications, advisory boards or webcasts to build awareness and bring partner voice into our products, services and programs and ensure tight alignment on our go-to-market activities with partners.
- Create a dashboard to track and demonstrate the value and impact of partner marketing programs across a variety of metrics, including pipeline, partner engagement, portal usage, effective MDF usage, etc.

This hybrid role will have a defined work location that includes work from home and assigned office days as set by the manager.

The ideal candidate will be passionate about the multiplier effect of an effective channel and have experience building channel marketing programs from the ground up, including leveraging the latest technology platforms to manage partner marketing activities for a B2B SaaS offering.This role provides an incredible opportunity to build your leadership skills, own a strategic part of the business, and ultimately build lasting partnerships that will help make BlueJeans #1 in our market. That’s why this candidate must be a great communicator and able to work effectively with multiple stakeholders to make great partner programs successful. They must be comfortable building a strong rapport with executives and partners, as well as Channel Sales, SEs and product teams to get the job done in a fast-paced environment.
You’ll need to have:
- Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
- Six or more years of relevant work experience.
- Bachelor's degree or relevant experience.
- Even better if you have one or more of the following:
- Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
- Six or more years of relevant work experience.
- Six plus years of marketing experience with at least Five years in a senior partner/channel marketing role inside enterprise B2B software/SaaS technology companies, during which time you've demonstrated an ability to successfully deliver partner marketing programs that deliver pipeline/revenue results.
- Operational knowledge of supporting technologies including Salesforce.com and Marketo.
- Experience in working with cross-functional teams including executive management, sales/channel sales, product management and other marketing functions.
- Experience partnering and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Willingness to travel
- Valid driver’s license
Even better if you have one or more of the following:
- MBA preferred
- Demonstrable experience building partner programs/partner marketing programs from the ground up.
- Demonstrated understanding of how the channel can leverage SaaS technologies, and how to design relevant programs for them to market and sell SaaS alongside more traditional offerings.
- Great customer and executive stakeholder communications skills.
- Creative and resourceful thinker capable of operating both in a strategic capacity and a hands-on/execution capacity.
