Vernick Food & Drink is seeking a experienced server.

Vernick Food & Drink is a James Beard Award winning restaurant located in the heart of Philadelphia. In 2016, Chef/Owner Gregory Vernick was named “Chef of the Year” by the Philadelphia Inquirer and Vernick Food & Drink earned a 4-Bell re-review from restaurant critic Craig Laban who called it the “Best Overall Restaurant” in the city. Chef Vernick received the 2017 James Beard Award for Best Chef: Mid-Atlantic, elevating the restaurant onto a national level. Vernick Coffee Bar opened in the Comcast Technology Center in 2018 and in mid-2019, Vernick Fish opened at the new Four Seasons Hotel. In 2023 Vernick Food & Drink was nominated for the Outstanding Hospitality award by the James Beard Foundation, a national recognition.

The ideal candidate should enjoy working in a fast-paced and energetic environment, be eager to learn, teamwork oriented, and possess a desire to provide genuine hospitality to our guests. The ideal candidate possesses previous experience in a fine dining atmosphere, strong knowledge of food and cuisine from different parts of the world. Strong beverage knowledge including cocktails, spirits, and wine is preferred. Candidates must be reliable, outgoing, organized, and should thrive in a team environment. Must be able to multi-task under pressure and communicate well.
