Job Description
We are currently seeking an ambitious and highly skilled Online Sales and Marketing manager with a track record of exceptional, transformative management practices. This position will oversee the daily operations of online sales and marketing teams. The Digital Marketing manager will also work closely with company leaders to align their strategies with corporate goals and values. There will be tremendous opportunities to develop innovative policies and campaigns that shape the future of our organization. The ideal candidate for this role will be creative, charismatic, knowledgeable, and exceptionally well-versed in the latest online sales and marketing techniques as well as tried-and-true practices.
Job Responsibilities
- Monitoring marketing and online sales success (i.e., social media content, sponsored ads, email campaigns, etc.)
- Preparing performance reports to provide metrics that demonstrate their successes and failures that support chosen strategies for continued growth
- Stay up to date on current market trends
- Planning and guiding projects
- Identifying target customers
- Setting long and short-term goals for their teams
- Conduct market research to identify customer trends opportunities, competitor offerings, and demographic data.
- Analyze customer data to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Work to ensure the company's brand and intended message is clear, consistent, and focused on the desired market.
- Liaise with creative teams to come up with branding ideas, graphic designs, and promotional materials.
- Create and manage content for digital channels, including websites, social media, email campaigns, etc.
- Creation of graphic materials for promotions, social postings, etc.
- Assist with photography and photo editing.
- Create various email lists and campaigns - organize a schedule to ensure maximum performance and open rate.
- Manage SMS marketing campaigns.
- Manage Affiliate program.
Required Skills & Experience
- Collaboration – the Digital Marketing manager will work alongside many departments daily (Web Development, Amazon, Sales, etc.)
- Interpersonal skills – Building strong professional relationships is a key function
- Verbal and written communication skills
- Data collection and analysis – will be responsible for monitoring important metrics and key performance indicators to gauge and enhance the success of their teams. Strong data collection and analysis skills can help gather valuable insights for online sales and marketing performance
- Creativity – Marketing often requires a creative approach. The Digital Marketing manager may collaborate with writers and designers when developing campaigns.
- Evidence of ability to innovate and implement change successfully
- Solid computer skills and awareness of web-based marketing and social media
- Research skills- The use of market research and statistics will be required to support advertising avenues within the firearms industry.
- Firearms industry knowledge is preferred – this position is expected to strategize successful advertising campaigns while battling advertising restrictions and policies.
- Graphic design experience. Required
- Minimum 2 years’ experience managing Facebook ad accounts *Required*
- Minimum 2 years’ experience managing Google Adword accounts *Required*
- Minimum 2 years’ experience managing Bing ad accounts *Required*
- Minimum 2 years’ experience using Google Analytics *Required*
- Google Adwords Certified *Preferred*

- Bing Ads Certified *Preferred*
- Experience using BigCommerce *Preferred*
- Experience with Graphic Design and the Adobe Suite (primarily Illustrator and Photoshop) *Preferred*
