Job Description
We are seeking a talented QA automation engineer to design testing procedures for our software applications. In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing the functionality of applications and designing automated tests to validate their performance. You will also be required to identify bugs, install databases, and collaborate with the software design team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Requirement’s analysis and validation
- Defining and executing test strategies and scripts
- Ensuring requirements traceability
- Introducing/suggesting new processes and techniques
- Accurate recording and monitoring of issues
- Writing automation/manual scripts and implementing software applications.
- Provide support to the development of scrum teams to automate tests to guide the development
- Review test environments and processes to facilitate continuous improvement and maintenance of quality standards
- Identifying quality issues and creating test reports.
- Troubleshooting automation software and Take ownership of the work Provided.
- Provide test estimates.
Qualifications
You will have:
- Experience in a Test Engineer/Test Analyst position 3-5 years
- Ability to do Automation testing (3 years) using Selenium, Cypress, etc.
- Experience of writing BDD Test suites with Gherkin, Cucumber and Junit
- Experience in Rest Assured, Postman or other API testing frameworks
- Experience of working in an Agile manner and experience of working in Scrum Teams
- Familiarity with programming script languages including Java and JavaScript.
- Good Database Knowledge (SQL, Oracle Database)
- Deliver front-end cross-browser functional testing, device testing, exploratory, systems integration, and user acceptance testing e.g., manual testing.
