Security Engineer
Contract
Hybrid, 3 days om site in Farmington, CT
6 years’ hands on experience in security systems, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, anti-virus software, authentication systems, log management, content filtering, SIEM, etc.
Experience with network security and networking technologies and with system, security, and network monitoring tools.
Thorough understanding of the latest security principles, techniques, and protocols
Self-starter and ability to multi-task the workday around assigned activities and prioritize with minimum supervision.
Other technical skills needed:
Palo Altos, Fortinet Firewalls
Experience with SOAR, DSPM, SSPM
Have experience with Prisma Cloud
Jira Ticketing systems
No specific Monitoring tools required but must have experience with them
Day to day:
It is a project-based group that works on Firewall configuration, troubleshooting tickets as well as triaging them.
