Telecommunications Tower Technician II
Duties:
- Perform tower climbing and work at heights of 100' using safety equipment
- Install, maintain, and repair wireless communication equipment on towers
- Installation of radios, antennas, cables, and other equipment
- Conduct inspections and troubleshoot issues with tower equipment
- Ability to work, at height, with little to no supervision and take direction via radio, phone or messages
Skills:
- Ability to climb towers and work at heights of 100'
- Knowledge of cabling and wiring techniques
- Solid understanding of wireless communication equipment
- Ability to problem-solving and conduct troubleshooting
- Ability to perform daily functions with little to no supervision or direction.
As a Telecommunications Tower Technician II, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of wireless communication equipment on towers. You will work at heights using safety equipment and operate bucket trucks/mewps for elevated work. This role requires knowledge of cabling and wiring techniques, as well as the ability to troubleshoot issues with tower equipment. If you have a strong work ethic, an understanding of wireless communication equipment and wiring, as well as a willingness to get the job done we encourage you to apply.
