Job Summary
This position is an integral part of the Busbar Product Line of Business (LoB) leadership structure and provides leadership, direction and ensures deployment of Product Quality, Quality Systems Management, and Product Compliance System within respective LoB. The Busbar Quality Leader will be accountable for the development of product quality and compliance requirements and deployment of these throughout the product development, manufacturing, sourcing, delivery and improvement processes.
This key position operates in a matrix organizational structure and works closely with the Quality function, the Busbar focus factories, and all other functions across all concerned Regions to drive deployment of quality product compliance systems; supplier and customer quality continuous improvements focus. This position coordinates the World Wide Busbar Quality Function, while owning the direct responsibility of the LoB Quality Assurance globally.

Essential Job Functions:
- LoB Quality Management
- Coordinate the busbar Quality functions world wide
- Responsible for the implementation and uphold of the Global Busbar Quality System.
- Primary quality interface to Key customer accounts
- Consolidates monthly quality KPIs and reports
- Manages/coordinates monthly quality reviews for the respective LoB at factories level
- LOB Continuous Improvement
- Drive process improvement initiatives within the Busbar Line of Business
- Contributes and supports central product compliance efforts in collaboration with R&D and specifically on LoB's tasks
- Drive continuous improvement of processes and system set up
- Best practice sharing across LoB's/Focus Factories
- Skills assessment and development
- Design Quality (New Product Design) quality specifications
- NPD Design Reviews Quality participation management / design stages quality approval
- Design Failure mode and effects analysis (FMEA) support
- Design Quality (NPI quality) process, product and service.
- NPI/NPD quality deliverables management
- Product Quality
- Assuring quality standards implementation during Custom project executions
- Ensure the quality standards for the respective manufacturing locations are being met
- Review the feedback reported by Service, Installation and Field to R&D and Focus Factories and collaborate on improvement initiatives leading to high-quality level products
- Customer Quality
- Customer Claims management, in cooperation with LOB Project team and factories
- LoB Specific Customer Audits coordination, participation and management on improvement activities related
- Evaluation and participation in customer new contract’s documentation preparation
- Reporting
- Monthly and quarterly global operational quality KPIs reporting
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree, Engineering or Business Management; MBA preferred
- 15 years of experience in quality control operations within a manufacturing plant
- International experience is preferred
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Well-developed interpersonal and leadership skills.
- Computer and software applications skills required.
- Proactive and high-energy style.
- vast knowledge of quality systems, tools and standards desired
- Travel:
- Performs other duties and oversees special projects and assignments as may be assigned by management
- Travel: 30 - 40%
