What are the responsibilities and job description for the Intern - Sales position at Vertiv?

JOB SUMMARY & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsibilities
1. Align potential resellers against ideal technical / solution proficiencies for recruitment.
2. Work to develop strategic interaction scripts and campaigns for associates
3. Research and add sales and technical contacts to existing reseller companies for deeper alignment.
4. Review legacy eRate data for funding requests that have not been fulfilled to provide quoting opportunities.
5. Review legacy sales data for renewal opportunities on UPS, PDU, Software, and Service
6. Review registration database against POS sales to follow-up on existing opportunities.
7. Review POS data from distributors to identify cross sell opportunities.
8. Provide research and review for DSView and Hardware renewal opportunities.
9. Review Federal Government Bid Boards for opportunities Vertiv can participate in.
10. Create Sales Tools and Cross Reference Material.
11. Participate in inbound and outbound calls to Vertiv’s customers to determine/discuss customer’s needs and requirements
12. Respond to Requests for Proposal from Vertiv’s customers/prospects
13. Interact with Sales Leaders on a regular basis
14. Work with various sales tools such as Product configurators, proposal development tools, MS Power BI, etc.
Other duties as assigned

- Proficient in spreadsheets, databases, MS Office

- Pursuing a degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or related field
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills, including the ability to balance multiple priorities. Excellent problem-solving skills and detail-oriented mindset
- A proven track record of working effectively in a team and implementing process solutions with objective, measurable results.
