What are the responsibilities and job description for the Machine Operator II position at Vertiv?
NIGHT SHIFT - 6:30 AM to 6:30 PM. 7 days on. 7 days off.
Operates one or more of the following machines: fin press, fin power, brake, vertical/horizontal expander, overhead crane, hairpin machine, pemsert, riveting, spot weld, gasket machine and paint system. May be required to do other reasonable manufacturing duties as assigned.
- Uses basic mechanics’ tool set, ratchets, wrenches, air tools, pliers, hammers, adjustable wrenches, screwdrivers, and channel locks.
- Uses tape measure, and manual and digital calipers.
- Checks parts using appropriate gauges.
- Uses calculator to perform 2 and 3 place decimal calculations.
- Changes out machine parts to achieve proper operation and configuration.
