Verturo Interests, LLC (“Verturo”) (www.verturointerests.com) is an investment firm headquartered in McAllen,
Texas and backed by Joseph Holand, an experienced leader with a proven track record of taking large scale projects full cycle, through development, capitalization, growth and disposition while delivering outsized returns to its investors in the process.
Verturo is currently in the process of deploying equity capital for its first commercial real estate fund storage and multifamily construction projects across the state of Texas. Additional funds in other asset classes and geographies are planned over the years as the capital in the first funds is deployed.
Verturo is seeking an ambitious, intelligent and hardworking Business Development Analyst based in McAllen to work closely with leadership to assist with investor relations, financial analysis, due diligence and reporting.
Position – Business Development Analyst
The Business Development Analyst will be based in McAllen and involved with all facets of the business as the company grows and adds additional team members. These rolls will include the preparation of marketing material to be used during the equity raising process with our network of high net worth individuals and family offices, analysis of the real estate markets and the asset classes we plan to target, and due diligence during the asset acquisition process. Additionally, the Business Development Analyst will be responsible for preparing quarterly investor reports and coordinating investor relations.
- Detailed financial modeling and analysis including but not limited to:
– Asset acquisition opportunities– Operational unit level return and economic analysis for the current portfolio of assets– Internal reporting– Related Entities
- Preparation of key presentations given to potential clients and partners
- Attending meetings with partners, clients, vendors, and outside service providers
- Assisting with investor correspondence
Requirements
A bachelor’s degree is required and a minimum of one year or more of experience in investment banking, commercial banking, and real estate finance is preferred. The ideal candidate must possess the following knowledge, skills and abilities:
- Goal oriented with attention to detail.
- Possess an inherent need to complete tasks.
- Strong computer skills – financial modeling, detailed presentation creation, coherent memo generation
- The ability to confidently, respectfully, and professionally interact with internal and external relationships
- Exceptional written and oral communications skills with the ability to prepare documents with attention to detail
- An eagerness to take initiative; the ability to work independently and multi-task; strong organizational skills
