Residential Licensed Graduate Counselor - Lanham
Vesta, Inc is seeking a enthusiastic Graduate level licensed clinician looking for an opportunity to efficiently accrue their direct care hours in a non-traditional setting with competitive compensation and flexible hours. The position grants the clinician exposure to the service member in the home. This position offers the clinician in training a more robust and authentic experience with the client than what is available in the traditional clinical milieu.
Our Prince Georges County (Lanham) region has an opening for the Residential Graduate Licensed Therapist to provide clinical services to service members diagnosed with a wide range of mental health and substance use disabilities.
Applicants MUST have a graduate level licensed in the state of Maryland to provide mental health services (e.g., LGPC, LGSW, LGMFT, LGDAC, etc.). Supervision is offered in-house for graduate level candidates.
Salary ranges are as follows:
$59,000
Salaried position- individual will not work exclusively like a therapist, but will be working in the residential homes with clients.
Hours for the position: Flexible 40 hours a week.

Responsibilities:
Provides individual and group sessions and social casework for residents
- Serves as a member of the treatment team, working with other disciplines in diagnosing, formulating treatment plans, and evaluating progress.
- Provides necessary social work treatment in accordance with medical treatment plans and modifies these plans to further therapeutic goals.
- Prepares socio-psychiatric case history information, psychosocial assessment, and social work treatment plans, for use in pre-admission screening and diagnosis.
- Follows regulatory and billing requirements ensuring that all services delivered are compliant.
- Assist the client with medication monitoring, meal planning, and Activities of Daily Living.
