ABOUT THE ROLE
Responsible for working with Supervising BCBA(s) to ensure the delivery of high-quality, evidence-based Applied Behavior Analysis to clients within Life Connections ABA Department. Role will work with Supervising BCBA(s) to support BT/RBT’s have needed supplies, materials and training to ensure the efficacy of ABA services, ensure the timely and appropriate clinical documentation of ABA services, contribute to the development & growth of the ABA Program and maintain a small clinical caseload of their own. For their caseload, they will provide direct treatment of ABA per the written treatment plan.
What You’ll Do
- Knowledge and experience in the provision of ABA services, delivery practices and regulations
- Ability to multitask and prioritize work in an organized manner to meet necessary deadlines
- Ability to communicate and engage in a professional, timely and respectful manner
- Strong professional and ethical business representation and performance.
- Must have at least 1 year of experience providing ABA services as an RBT/BT
- Demonstrated competency in collecting data, completing sessions and utilizing ABA implementation software
- Have the ability to travel to all Life Connections locations and potential locations if needed.
- Must have the ability to appropriately respond to physically and emotionally challenging behavioral problems, client behavioral or emotional crisis and other emergency situations (includes the physical ability to become trained in the implementation of crisis response and de-escalation procedures)
- Leadership Function: Team oriented, shows ability to model and demonstrate skills delivered to clients, shows patience and understanding for clients and employees alike, demonstrates ability to follow appropriate boundary guidelines, able to conduct themselves in such a manner that their activities, both personal and official, will not discredit Life Connections.
ABOUT YOU
- Identify and communicate professional and clinical training needs of employees providing ABA services of BT/RBT’s within area of treatment implementation
- Work as part of the team to ensure validity, efficacy and efficiency of clinical service delivery within Life Connections ABA Program
- Train, direct and support BT/RBT’s in Discrete Trial Training and other Applied Behavior Analysis strategies to ensure high-quality, clinical ABA services are provided
- Provide BT/RBT’s with training or coaching needed for timely completion of high quality clinical service documentation
- Maintain HIPAA and all necessary confidentiality standards
- Attend meetings as needed (can include Clinical, Management, Training or One on One with upper level management)
- Communicate professionally with employees, clients, and the general public alike Maintain professional ethics and behaviors with employees, clients and the general public alike
- Maintain a strict level of employee/supervisor confidentiality (has signed a confidentiality agreement as well)
- Provide ABA treatment and supervision in-clinic and/or in-home (Caseload may be smaller or decrease as employee has increased supervisory responsibilities however, this will still be necessary part of employment in this position.)
- Maintain a minimum caseload of 20 direct billable hours per week
- Fill-in for other staff and clients as needed
- Must give one month notice when resigning
- All other duties as assigned by the Supervising BCBA(s)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $33,000.00 - $37,000.00 per year
