The Company
VANVETS® is a state-of-the-art mobile veterinary clinic that will be servicing greater Las Vegas and surrounding areas early next year. Treatment is provided outside our partner pet stores and other related locations. Our focus is maintaining the wellness of dogs and cats and more specifically, oral health. Our core service is providing Non-Anesthetic Prophylaxes for dogs and cats. We also provide Diagnostic Lab Tests, Vaccinations, Wellness Exams, Health Travel Certificates, Microchipping, and more. VANVETS® offers a low-stress work environment with a team-first approach. Our hours of operation are flexible through the week so that we can provide our customers with various schedule options as well. Our Mobile Care Unit serves the needs of pet owners in Las Vegas and surrounding communities. We move to different locations to meet the customers in retail locations.

The Position
VANVETS® is looking for a full-time veterinarian that brings compassion, empathy, and a detail-oriented mindset to providing excellent care to our pet patients. Some of the typical procedures you will perform during the week include, but are not limited to;
- Comprehensive Oral Examinations
- Teeth cleaning
- Microchipping
- Exclusive Wellness Plans
- Ancillary Services such as Nail Trims and Anal Gland Expressions
- Non-Emergency Ailment Treatment
- Provide Prescriptions from Clinic or Online Pharmacy
- Intestinal Parasite Screening
- Canine and Feline Core & Non-Core Vaccines
- Heartworm Testing and Prevention
- Annual Blood Work and Health Screening
- Behavioral and Lifestyle Counseling
- Nutritional Consultations and Prescription Diets
- Allergy Screening and Management
- Maintain and utilize knowledge of preventative healthcare recommendations
- Assist veterinarian in dental cleanings using proper restraint, following directions
- Compassionate animal restraint and handling
- Administer treatments and injections per DVM directions/supervision
- Update and maintain accurate patient medical records
- Work collaboratively and proactively with staff
Requirements
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from an accredited University
- Licensure in good standing to practice in Nevada
- Position requires bending, kneeling, lifting, and standing during the course of work.
- Minimum 2 years of experience
- A positive attitude and excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Our medical team doesn’t need to worry about scheduling, billing, inventory management, marketing, or human resources.
