At Independence Hall, we provide client-centered care and recovery-oriented treatment within a therapeutic environment. We are seeking passionate and innovate individuals to join our newly licensed inpatient Detox program staff.
This position collaborates as a part of an interdisciplinary treatment team within the detox program. The Senior Clinician position provides guidance and counseling support as needed by overseeing and accompanying the patients in their recovery.
WHAT YOU'LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR DAY TO DAY:
- Provide evidence-based clinical treatment services to patients seeking treatment for substance abuse and common co-occurring mental health disorders.
- Develops and documents individualized treatment plans that address the needs of substance abuse patient population.
- Assists patients through individual, group, substance use or mental health use disorder counseling.
- Refers clients to appropriate treatment modality based on assessment. Recommends treatment plans for clients to program manager and criminal justice officials.
- Develops and facilitates process groups and educational programs.
- Ensures compliance with legal issues including but not limited to client confidentiality and risk management; ensures compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
WHAT YOU MUST HAVE:
- Minimum of Master's Degree in a related field (Social Work, Counseling, Psychology), LADC I, or LMHC preferred.
- Experience diagnosing and treating substance use disorders and mental health disorders.
- Minimum of two years of supervised substance use disorder counseling experience; and at least one year full time equivalent year of clinical experience in a supervisory role.
- Must be able to pass a CORI and background investigation.
- Compliance with Veterans Inc. COVID-19 Vaccination Policy. Religious and Medical Exemptions are considered.
