Job Summary
We are seeking a Business Development Analyst, who will work to source, evaluate, and drive the closing of a high volume of acquisitions. The candidate will join a collaborative and motivated team in a high growth environment with substantial opportunity to create value for all involved. Qualified candidates should demonstrate a strong desire and passion for M&A and business development, working with small business owners, and a great goal-oriented attitude.
Job Responsibilities:
Ø Evaluating potential acquisition opportunities
Ø Preparing investment review packages for the management team
Ø Performing due diligence (including managing third-parties), valuation analysis, and proposal development for potential acquisition candidates
Ø Drafting letters of intent, purchase agreements and ancillary documents in conjunction with senior management and members of the board of directors to efficiently close transactions
Ø Wearing multiple hats if needed and being a team player in a fast-paced and entrepreneurial environment
Requirements:
Ø 1-3 years of prior analyst-level (accounting, FP&A, investment banking, private equity, corporate development, or direct lending) or multi-site business development experience
Ø Experience in corporate development, private equity, or investment banking preferred
Ø Prior experience at a veterinary or multi-site acquisition driven organization is a plus, but not required
Ø Proficient in Microsoft Office products
Ø Bachelor’s degree required, advanced degrees a plus
Compensation
Highly competitive compensation consisting of base salary, as well as an annual performance bonus
