Description
Our hospital is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to provide excellent care to our patients and community. As a Veterinary Assistant, you will assist in the monitoring and care of our hospitalized patients, complete hourly treatments, triage incoming patients and work side by side with our skilled and knowledgeable team .
Our ideal candidate will have:
- Experience as a veterinary assistant (1 year minimum)
- Strong restraint skills
- Multi-tasking ability
- Flexibility
- Excellent communication skills
- Desire and drive to learn new skills
- Ability to work in a fast paced, emergency setting
- Basic math skills
- Basic pharmaceutical knowledge
- Excellent spelling and grammar
