Duration: 12 months contract

Pay Rate: $15/hr

Shifts: Rotating Shift

Job Description:

· The industry is seeking a qualified candidate to work as a Leadman on a mid-stream stevedoring rig based out of our American River Transportation Company (ARTCo) in Waggaman, LA.

· TWIC-Transportation worker Identification Card required

Job Responsibilities:

· Lead and train contract personnel in operations and care of stevedoring production assets.

· Oversee contract personnel, but not limited to, housekeeping, cleaning and maintenance of production equipment and associated structures.

· Complete a variety of required forms electronically and on paper.

· Lead contract personnel in completing required documents.

· Additional duties and responsibilities as required or requested.

Job Requirements:

· Previous experience leading personnel in an operations environment.

· Ability to follow direction and execute tasks under the supervision of operations management. Reading and writing skills sufficient to comprehend/complete a variety of documents.

· Computer skills sufficient to complete a variety of reports and documents.

· Ability to work in a flexible schedule; must allow for changes in assignments, and priorities depending upon identified needs of the operations.

· Ability to work well independently as well as part of a team.

· Must be able to work in all types of climates.

· Ability to work a rotating morning/evening shift, extended hours, evenings, weekends and Holidays

Physical Requirements:

· Able to lift at least 50 pounds

· work at various heights; sit, stand, kneel, crawl, and bend in various conditions; work in hot, cold or dusty conditions
