What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Technician position at VGM Property Management?
Seeking experienced maintenance personnel for properties in Chandler, Texas. Full-time position with on-call schedule for maintenance emergencies. Pay scale will be based on experience.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- A/C repair/install
- Electrical and Plumbing repair
- Service requests for both occupied and vacant units
- Make readies
- Property projects
- Other duties as requested by Supervisor
Candidate must be motivated and able to work independently and in a team setting. Must be organized and able to meet deadlines by prioritizing tasks. Candidate reports to and works along side onsite manager to schedule make-readies for move-in, complete daily service request tickets, identify and create a plan of action for all maintenance concerns. Candidate will ensure that grounds/common areas are maintained daily. Customer Service skills and quality work ethics are a must. Candidate must be able to complete reports and work-orders legibly. Candidate must be able to stand, walk, climb stairs and lift heavy objects frequently throughout the day. Reliable transportation is required as you may travel between different sites. Fluency in English is required, bilingual is a plus.
Qualified candidates should possess a minimum of 1 year experience with HVAC Certification and CPO Certification. Other candidates will be reviewed based on prior work experience related to the industry.
