Job Overview :
We are seeking a reliable and tech-savvy individual to operate our new Microfiche machine and assist with document preparation and scanning.
While experience is preferred, we are open to candidates who can quickly learn the necessary technology, follow SOPs, and pay attention to detail.
This is a straightforward role for someone who is willing to work hard, stay organized, and ensure high-quality results.
Key Responsibilities :
- Operate the Microfiche machine to digitize microfiche records efficiently.
- Follow SOPs for the digitization process and maintain accurate labeling and categorization of documents.
- Regularly inspect and maintain the Microfiche machine and other scanning equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Troubleshoot basic issues with scanning devices and equipment as needed.
- Ensure document confidentiality and handle sensitive information with care.
- Perform data backups of scanned and digitized records to prevent data loss.
- Assist with the disposal of physical documents post-scanning, as required.
Qualifications :
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience with Microfiche machines is a plus but not required.
- Ability to learn new technology quickly and follow detailed processes.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Proficient with basic computer software and document management systems.
- Self-motivated, hard-working, and able to work independently.
- Good communication skills and the ability to handle confidential information responsibly.
Working Conditions :
While performing the duties of this job, the team member is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls;
reach with hands and arms. The team member must occasionally lift or move up to 40 pounds.
