What We Need:
To assist the company in its current growth, Vitality Institute is hiring a full-time Trade Marketing Director to help drive all professional channel facing marketing efforts in the medical aesthetics space (MediSpas, Dermatologists, Plastic Surgeons, etc.). This position reports directly to the CMO and will be responsible for account communications, in-clinic branded materials, account rewards and recognition programs, key account meeting preparation and participation (alongside sales), competitive and market insights, business analysis by account and product categories, new product launches, and ownership of the trade marketing calendar.
An analytical and strategic thinker, with a marketing sensibility, the Trade Marketing Director is excited to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment, is a very proactive and collaborative team-player, and has a big appetite to lean in, learn and grow.
Strategy and Planning
- Through applied marketing experience, understand what motivates our class of trade, and make sure these key drivers are addressed in our marketing programs and communications strategies.
- Assist in developing the marketing strategy based on this applied expertise including budgeting and reporting.
- Work closely with the sales and education teams to implement the marketing 360 plan with each account to successfully reach the key business objectives and KPIs.
- Explore new channels and other marketing initiatives such as cobranded partnerships to drive growth.
- Be the key link between sales and marketing, ensuring that the corporate brand core messages are consistent.
Product
- Be responsible for new product launches within the professional channel.
- Contribute to the analysis and compilation of product launch post-mortems with critical business insights and strategic recommendations.
- Lead visual merchandising and patient collateral in-clinic, focused on the brand, treatments and products.
- Participate in the product development team meetings, testing, etc. and bring innovative ideas from the professional channel.
Sales/Account Support
- In collaboration with sales, create all sales support collateral.
- Lead promotional calendar in collaboration with head of Sales.
- Responsible for managing and developing the rewards and recognition program including strategy, tactics, improvements, and analysis.
- Be responsible for the content on the company’s Professional Only Ecommerce Portal and promoting the platform to accounts for ordering.
- Be responsible for marketing content on Sales asset platform.
- Strategize with and participate in planning sessions with Key Accounts, in alignment with sales team.
- Develop strong relationships with marketing counterparts within Key Accounts and conduct quarterly touch base sessions.
- Ensure compelling content for Lead Webinars and LinkedIn Company Profile
- Provide event management support including pre-event promotion, on-site branding, and support as requested by Sales.
- Provide day-to-day marketing support to domestic and international sales teams.
- Manage ongoing asset and collateral updates for international distributors.
Education Support
- Collaborate with head of education to develop, optimize, and drive traffic to Academy education website.
- Create activations to support The Brown Skin Agenda education program via practitioners.
- Help create educational communication pieces in collaboration with education team.
- Supervise SkinSider private Facebook group.
Additional Marketing
- Collaborate with CX team on customer feedback, ordering experience, and other issues as it relates to supporting the accounts via marketing.
- Participate in the artwork process and artwork reviews.
- Participate model and product photo and video shoots, as needed.
- Manage full time marketing support coordinator in their efforts toward webinar support, B2B email program, Facebook private group posts/reporting and additional activities.
